Abstract: The effect of the aluminum content in the composition of aluminosilicate on its radiation-catalytic activity in the process of radiolytic decomposition of water at various temperatures has been studied. It was found that at low aluminum contents, a stationary region sets in, and in this region, an increase in the radiation-catalytic activity by a factor of 2.5 compared to the initial silica gel is observed. It has been established that only a certain amount of aluminum introduced into the aluminosilicate composition plays the role of radiation-catalytically active centers in the process of water decomposition.
