Abstract

In a market economy, the development of family businesses within the national economy plays a crucial role in ensuring economic growth, public welfare, and overall sustainable socio-economic development. This article employs general scientific research methods and survey data to analyze the identification and characteristics of family businesses in Azerbaijan. The findings indicate that 89.3% of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) operating in Azerbaijan are composed of family businesses.
