Qısa məlumat

Grammatical category, case category of Noun, Turkish languages, research history The category of case in the Azerbaijani language is one of the main grammatical categories of the language, which can be across numerous studies on this theme. According to the genealogical classification, the Azerbaijani language belongs to the Oghuz subgroup of the Turkish family of languages, and according to the typological classification, it belongs to the family of inflammatory languages. Of course, our language has common features inherent in all-Turkish languages, which we can clearly see in the case category of the Noun. During the research, it became clear that the grammatical structure of Turkish languages did not change significantly compared to other language groups. Taking into account the existence of eight cases in the language of the Orkhon-Yenisey inscriptions, it is the fact that there are 6-8 case suffixes in the Turkish languages today proves that the Turkish languages have historically lived their development period and have become quite stable. For example, today there are eight cases of the Noun in Gagauz, Turkmen, Tatar, Bashkir, Kumyk, Nogai – six cases in Karachay-Balkar, Karaim, Kazakh, Tuvin, Shor – seven cases in Kuvash, Ruby, Khakas. In the modern Azerbaijani language, there are six cases of the Noun. It is known that the grammatical structure of the language is more stable than the lexical and phonetic structure, less exposed to change. Today there are various changes in the category of cases, so it is clear to analyze these changes by looking through the history of the study of the category of cases. Although the grammar of the Azerbaijani language was first developed by M. Kazimbay, the category of cases in all Turkish languages has been studied by various foreign scholars. For example, in 1786, in Cosimo Comido’s work on the grammar of the Turkish language, he used five forms of the Noun, Luis Duboe (Elements de La Grammaire Turque-1856) used six forms of the Noun, and Pierre François Vigie in The Fundamentals of the Turkish Language (1790) he discussed six cases of Noun. Then, Mirza Kazimbay, Bakir Chobanzade, Nariman Narimanov also used these classifications and expressed their views. According to the research, in almost all classifications, the cases of noun, possession, direction, influence, place and origin, which exist in the modern Azerbaijani language, have preserved their existence under different names. During the research, the classification of all researchers in relation to the cases of the Noun was researched and tried to show similarities and differences between them.
