Qısa məlumat

The main goal of studying and teaching the history of the Turkic peoples is to provide students with information about the history of this ancient people. This necessity is due to the fact that until now the place and role of the Turkic peoples in world history has been studied very superficially and taught in accordance with the requirements of the colonial regime. The history of the few Turkic peoples has been completely forgotten. There are certain objective reasons for not studying the history of the Turkic peoples. The main goal of Soviet national policy was to isolate the Turkic peoples from each other, not to show that they had an ancient state and culture, and not to allow the formation of the antiquity of this people in the worldview of the new generation. Because it was absolutely incompatible with Soviet national policy to accept the greatness and spiritual richness of a people who once lived in a very large territory and who for centuries proved the remains of Turkish culture and history in these territories. While the history of other nations was well studied and presented to the world as an ancient nation, in order to distance the Turkic nations from their roots, gaps were deliberately created between their common history and they were studied in isolation from each other. After the collapse of the USSR, a number of Turkic nations achieved their independence. A lot of work has also been done to study the modern history of the Turkic nations. The shortcomings in this area have been eliminated. The main goal of teaching the modern history of the Turkic nations is to convey to students the history of both the independent Turkic states and the Turkic nations within the Russian Federation.
