Qısa məlumat

In the present communication, a hybrid photovoltaic solar cell, coated with an organic material has been investigated, which shows increase in efficiency compared to a normal photovoltaic solar cell. We report the room temperature observations along with characterization of photovoltaic cell after coating both the front and rear surfaces of the cell using Ethyl-propyl Nitrite (C4H9NO2) nano particles coating. Anomalous photovoltaic effects are observed during the characterization of this photovoltaic cell both under one-sun condition and at quantum efficiency level. Several characteristics of the proposed solar cell after coating with Ethyl-propyl Nitrite have been investigated and these results are compared with simple amorphous Si-solar cell. It has been observed that this organic coating enhances the efficiency of the solar cell even at room temperature operation. Presence of this organic coating not only enhances the base current but also increases output power appreciably. Other photovoltaic and quantum effects are discussed in this report in detail. We have analysed band-gap, carrier densities, and generation and recombination rates of carriers of this organic photovoltaic cell and compared these obtained results with Si- photovoltaic cell.
