This study aimed to reveal the opinions of individuals aged 65 and over regarding active and successful aging processes. The research was conducted on 20 people using the "phenomenological research method". Data were collected by face-to-face interview technique using a semi-structured interview form. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. Three main themes were identified. These themes; they were "perspectives on aging", "perspectives on adopting a healthy lifestyle" and "expectations on active and healthy aging". The participants have a positive view on aging in a healthy way, they create a constant occupation to stay active and healthy, they spare time for their loved ones, they remain physically active, they continue their professions part-time, they organize cultural trips for the elderly, sports competitions and teach their professions to the younger generations. They appeared to be willing.
