Ahmed Javad, who has exceptional merits in the development of literature and culture of the 20th century, is one of the great figures who called the nation, entrusting its culture, literature and science. The diversity of A. Javad's work in terms of ideas and problems, the development of feelings of national citizenship clearly reflects his place and position in the history of literary thought. The fact that the initial creative period of the poet came to the years of development and the birth of the ideas of national statehood, began him as a "poet of independence", further increased interest in Javada's poetry. The poems "The way to the Turkic flag", "Morning Star", "Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan", "Mountains", "My Ganja" and others are poems written during the years of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. There is great courage and a call to freedom in these verses. In the poems "Turkish Army", "Martyrs", "Azerbaijani Flag", "Flag of the Fatherland", etc., the struggle for independence in the country is sung.
