This paper is concerned with optimal control problems governed by constrained hereditary second-order differential inclusions (DFIs). We also focus on delay-neutral and assigned Hale type DFIs, which arise in many fields of applied science and play a vital role in the mathematical modeling of real-life phenomena. To the best of our knowledge, such problems for second-order hereditary DFIs have not been considered in the literature from the viewpoint of optimality conditions. In this way we formulate sufficient conditions of optimality for second-order convex and nonconvex neutral functional-DFIs in Euler-Lagrange and Hamiltonian forms and transversality conditions. The results obtained are applied to some linear problems.
