A nano-composite system is obtained by adding nano-Si to polypropylene at a rate of 0.5–20 wt%. The obtained composite systems were irradiated by neutrons at various durations. Thermal stability of irradiated and non-irradiated systems were comparatively studied by thermogravimetric method. It was determined that as the neutron flux increases in the range of 0-3.46·1017 neutrons/cm2, the thermal stability of the composite systems decreases. The density of a sharp decrease in the dependence of the activation energy of the decomposition processes of the polymer matrix on the neutron flux is observed in the interval of (Formula presented.) neutron/cm2.
