The topical issues of economics of Azerbaijan Republic, in particular the upgrading issues and importance of implementation of the up to date economic instruments in the economic system of the country are investigated in the article. There are also analyzed and validated the necessity of acceleration of the innovation of the economics in Azerbaijan, acquisition of the innovation activity, creation of network of the competitive enterprises, additional motivation in getting hold of large capital into the country from outside and attraction of investors to the oil sector, the activation of implementation of the new economic manners in the economic system of the country including the creation and functioning of the special economic zones.
