The radiation-thermocatalytic and thermocatalytic processes of water decomposition on the surface of n-ZrO2-n-SiO2 systems have been investigated. The kinetics of the accumulation of molecular hydrogen during radiolytic processes of water decomposition in the systems under study has been studied. The values of the rates and radiation-chemical yields of hydrogen during the radiolysis of water in the presence of the n-ZrO2-n-SiO2 system at different temperatures have been determined. It has been revealed that the values of the rates and radiation-chemical yields of molecular hydrogen decrease on going from n-ZrO2 to n-SiO2.
