It is obvious that globalization affects a number of events in our time. The concept of migration is one of the areas that cannot escape the influence of globalization. The changes in the political, social and economic spheres created by globalization at the international level affect migration in itself and, at the same time, the decisions that migrants will make regarding the choice of places to settle for themselves. These steps require social scientists to take into account many factors such as transnational population movements, multiculturalism created by this movement, and new types of communities formed both internationally and within the national state when dealing with the phenomenon of migration. Because globalization and international migration are one dimension of this phenomenon, and the existence of borders and legal sanctions of national states is another dimension of the phenomenon Caglayan Savash, 2006. In this article, it aims to pay special attention not only to the concept of globalization, but also to international migration affected by globalization and the effects of environmental changes on migration. Because if we look from the past to the present day, we can see that many environmental events and natural disasters have continuously affected globalized migration for years. As a result, the vast majority of migrants prefer to settle in areas where the standard of living and standard of living are higher compared to other areas, in order to live more comfortably and less prone to natural disasters. This article examines how natural disasters and environmental events affect migration.
