Family businesses are considered one of
the main drivers of the world economy, combining the three elements – family,
business and ownership. Family businesses play an important role in providing
employment and creating added value by making up a large part of collective
entrepreneurial entities. Therefore, the purpose of the article is to identify
the main factors affecting the creation and development of family businesses
and to examine their management features. For this purpose, researches
published in authoritative scientific sources were consulted and literature
review, analysis, comparison and generalization methods were used during the
research.
