Climate is a weather a certain place has over a long period of time. It has a great influence on plants, animals and humans and is different in various parts of the world. But the atmosphere has gone through significant changes in recent years, especially in the European continent. Researchers claim that the reason is the greenhouse effect, which is due to the carbon emissions. Carbon dioxide sneaks into the atmosphere when burning things. Also both people and animals inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. As it is well-known, trees take in this gas from air and then produce oxygen. But in the last few years some major fields of rainforest have been cut and burnt down. This means that there are now fewer trees on Earth and more carbon dioxide. This gas in the atmosphere works like glass in a greenhouse. It lets warm get in easily, but doesn’t let much heat get out, which is why the air shell becomes warmer. Greenhouse effect can sometimes be called global warming as well
