The growing global emphasis on sustainable energy highlights the need for reliable, clean, and renewable sources to address environmental challenges and promote economic stability. Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, rich in fossil fuel resources, are gradually pivoting toward renewable energy to align with global sustainability goals. This paper analyzes the renewable energy strategies of these countries, examining their current investment levels, policy frameworks, and the challenges they face. While both countries have made strides in renewable energy investments, they rely heavily on fossil fuels, underscoring a need for stronger policy initiatives to achieve sustainable development. The findings of this paper contribute to understanding the transition of Eurasian economies toward a green future.
