The article is devoted to the distribution of macrozoobenthos by biotope of the Azerbaijan sector of the South Caspian. During the study, covering the period from 2018-2019, 56 macrobenthic organisms belonging to 10 systematic groups were found in the Azerbaijan sector of the South Caspian. In terms of species and quantity, the fauna of the silt-shell biotope is the richest, where the total biomass ranged from 218.93 to 261.9 g / m² with a population of 1505 - 1707 specimens / m².
