The article carries out the analysis of changes at the labor market during 2000-2009 concerning the level of education of employees in Poland and Ukraine. An assumption is put forward that the educational level of employees has increased to the level which has no rational reasoning, that is, the formal level of the education obtained and the related knowledge will not be fully used by graduates. © Y.
