The agro-industrial complex (AIC) is a set of industries that support the activities of agriculture, produce the necessary means for its functioning, process agricultural products and deliver them to consumers. The main goal of the AIC is to meet the population's needs for food products, as well as to ensure food security for the country. The AIC can be divided into three main groups. The first includes agriculture itself, which consists of farming, livestock farming and fisheries. The second group covers industries that provide agriculture with means of production, such as agricultural machinery, fertilizers, etc. In addition, this includes enterprises engaged in agricultural services. The third group includes the processing of agricultural products, their storage, packaging and delivery to consumers.
