The creation of tourist clusters is one of the promising areas for the development of the tourism industry. Based on the definition, a tourist cluster implies the joint work of various entities-suppliers of tourist products and services, which ensures a synergistic economic effect. In turn, this actualizes the issues of theoretical description of the characteristics and features of identification of anchor objects as points of attraction that ensure economic growth of the economy in the region. The article applies the fuzzy inference to identify an anchor object based on two weakly structured parameters: the centrality of the anchor object within the polygon from the Voronoi diagram and the attractiveness of enterprises characterized by their natural attractions, historical heritage and cultural features. The qualitative evaluation criteria are fuzzified in two ways: on the basis of a limited set of alternative solutions and in the MATLAB notation. The results of ranking enterprises obtained using these fuzzification methods are sufficiently correlated with each other, which allows us to judge the adequacy of fuzzy approaches to solving the problem. In addition, the fuzzy method of identifying an anchor object does not require users to have special mathematical skills and allows qualitative categories to be involved in the computational process.
