The method proposed by the authors for controlling the structure of the winding formed using friction winding mechanisms, which include devices for dispersing the bundle winding, is considered. It is shown that using this method it is possible to quantify the quality of the winding structure using a single indicator "the number of turns in winding defects". Based on the full factorial experiment conducted using this parameter as the output, rational operating modes of the dispersion mechanism of the bundle winding with a sinusoidal change in the speed of the yarn guide are established.
