There is an experimental method for determining the deformation of warp threads and fabric directly on the loom. However, using this method to determine fabric deformation in the area where the fabric is formed on the loom and is under tension may cause a decrease in measurement accuracy. In this study, an experimental method was applied and tested that makes it possible to accurately determine the degree of deformation of the fabric and warp threads in this area. The results of this study can be used to control warp threads and fabric deformation directly on the loom during the production of main woven fabrics. This technique can also be used on warp knitting machines.
