Abstract

Accurate thickness control of insulation winding on rotating steel frames is more difficult than thickness control of non-moving parts. Electromagnetic converters with a levitation element are selected for this purpose. In the given work the generalized physical model of such converters is presented, magnetic streams and pressure of its magnetic system taking into account their distributed character are investigated. Differential equations of magnetic circuits are solved, analytical expressions of magnetic fluxes and voltages for general and special cases are given.
