The paper presents the study on the formation of a tissue element of the national kelaghayi shawl, based on the developed energy method. The fabric of the keleghayi shawl should have certain quality indicators, determined by the conditions of their operation, providing resistance to climatic and mechanical influences, wear resistance, artistic, aesthetic, and other consumer properties. The structure of the fabric surface is extremely important to increase the wearability of the keleghayi fabric. With an increase in the supporting surface of the keleghayi fabric and the intensity of its wear decreases, since the specific pressure per unit area decreases and, consequently, the friction force decreases. Therefore, to increase the wearing time of kelaghayi, the fabric must have the V phase of the structure.
