The article presents the experimental results of the study of the tensile deformation components of elastic type textured threads. The amount of thread length recovery depends on the applied forces or on the deformation. Therefore, the influence of the magnitude of the load on the components of the total deformation was investigated. The study of the dependences of the total deformation and its components showed that the total deformation significantly increases with an increase in the load to 0.01 n/tex. A further increase in the load does not have a significant effect on the total deformation. An increase in load leads to an acceleration of the relaxation process. The results of the study can be used to predict the basic properties of knitted products based on elastic type textured yarns.
