Abstract

The Tl2Se-Sb2Se3-Bi2Se 3 system is investigated by differential thermal and X-ray powder diffraction analyses and by microhardness measurements. The isothermal section at 500 K, a series of vertical sections of the phase diagram, and a projection of the liquidus surface are constructed. Quaternary solid solutions based on the terminal binary compounds and TlSb(Bi)Se2 ternary compounds are found, and their crystallization and homogeneity fields are determined. The types of invariant and monovariant equilibria are stated.
