The complexation of some metals with 3-(5-sulfonaphthylazo)pentanedione-2,4 in aqueous solution is studied by potentiometric and conductometric titration. From the results of potentiometric titration, it was found that the thermodynamic functions of complexation reactions vary in the following sequences: -ΔG°compl : Fe > Cu > UO2 > Ni > Co > Zn > Cd > Mn > Mg > Ca, - ΔH°compl : Fe > Cu > UO2 > Ni > Co > Zn > Cd > Mn > Mg > Ca, ΔS°compl : Ca > Mg > Mn > Cd > Zn > Co > Ni > UO2 > Cu > Fe.
