The growth of volumes of information (including statistical information) gives rise to the need for its rapid collection, ordering, storage, and analysis. With the help of information technologies, various stages of the economic and statistical study of macro indicators are processed based on historical time series. The article examines how the transition to an inflation-targeting policy affects the economic growth of three South Caucasus countries - Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia. Using the Eviews package, an analysis of financial data through ARCH models and their generalizations (GARCH models and EGARCH models) was carried out.
