The digital economy determines the vector of development of socio-economic systems at the micro and macro levels in the long term, which requires the study and comprehensive analysis of digital transformation processes. Once a priority for individual innovative companies, today digital transformation has become a mass phenomenon, and relevant projects are of vital importance for the success of not only individual companies, but also regions and countries. At the same time, this transformation itself is closely related to the trend of servicing socio-economic systems and is mainly implemented on its basis. Analysis of Azerbaijani and foreign experience, as well as theoretical studies, show that the digital transformation of socio-economic systems is carried out on the basis of digital platforms that combine economic, social and technological processes and form ecosystems of digital services. In this regard, a new institution is being formed in the economy, a new category of business structures in the service sector - service integrators, whose role in progressive economic development is significantly increasing.
Rəqəmsal iqtisadiyyat uzunmüddətli perspektivdə mikro və makro səviyyələrdə sosialiqtisadi sistemlərin inkişafı vektorunu müəyyən edir ki, bu da rəqəmsal transformasiya proseslərinin tədqiqini və hərtərəfli təhlilini tələb edir. Bir vaxtlar fərdi innovativ şirkətlər üçün prioritet olan bu gün rəqəmsal transformasiya kütləvi fenomenə çevrilib və müvafiq layihələr təkcə ayrı-ayrı şirkətlərin deyil, həm də regionların və ölkələrin uğurları üçün həyati əhəmiyyət kəsb edir. Eyni zamanda, bu transformasiyanın özü də sosial-iqtisadi sistemlərə xidmət tendensiyası ilə sıx bağlıdır və əsasən onun əsasında həyata keçirilir. Azərbaycan və xarici təcrübənin təhlili, eləcə də nəzəri araşdırmalar göstərir ki, sosial-iqtisadi sistemlərin rəqəmsal transformasiyası iqtisadi, sosial və texnoloji prosesləri birləşdirən və rəqəmsal xidmətlərin ekosistemlərini formalaşdıran rəqəmsal platformalar əsasında həyata keçirilir. Bununla əlaqədar olaraq, iqtisadiyyatda yeni institut, xidmət sektorunda biznes strukturlarının yeni kateqoriyası - xidmət inteqratorları formalaşır ki, onların mütərəqqi iqtisadi inkişafda rolu əhəmiyyətli dərəcədə artır.
