Abstract

ON THE BASIS OF DIFFERENTIAL-THERMAL ANALYSIS, X-RAY PHASE ANALYSIS AND MICROHARDNESS MEASUREMENTS, IT IS ESTABLISHED THAT IN THE SYSTEMS TLX-CD(ZN)X THE COMPOUNDS TLZN(CD)X//2, THE EXISTENCE OF WHICH WAS INDICATED EARLIER IN THE LITERATURE, ARE NOT FORMED. THE SYSTEMS TLSE-ZN(CD)SE ARE OF SIMPLE EUTECTIC TYPE AND ARE CHARACTERIZED BY A DEGENERATE EUTECTIC NEAR TLSE. A THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS IS MADE OF THE LIQUIDUS OF THE SYSTEMS TLSE-CDSE AND TLTE-ZN(CD)TE IN A REGULAR-SOLUTION APPROXIMATION WITH ALLOWANCE FOR LIQUID-PHASE DISSOCIATION OF THALLIUM CHALCOGENIDES.
