The aim of teaching the subject is to provide students with detailed information about the basic concepts of climate and climate change, natural and anthropogenic causes, climate linkage mechanisms, and the global carbon cycle, as well as to help students understand the nature of the impacts of climate change on public health, water resources, and agriculture, and to provide a more in-depth understanding of the history of international climate policies, IPCC reports, the Kyoto Protocol, the UNFCCC, and the Paris Agreement.
