The electrical properties of extruded bulk nanostructured samples of Bi0.85Sb0.15 doped with 0.0005 at. % Te with grain sizes of 200 μm, 38, 32, and 15 nm in the temperature range of 77–300 K and magnetic field strength up to ∼74 × 104 A/ m were studied. The dependence of the magnetoelectric parameters on the nanoparticle sizes and heat treatment shows that texture plays a predominant role in the scattering of current carriers at low temperatures. The change in the magnetoelectric characteristics of these samples is satisfactorily explained by the recrystallization occurring in their structure during hot extrusion and post-extrusion heat treatment.
