Language is one of the factors confirming the existence of peoples. Relying on this indisputable fact, the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev has always done a lot to preserve and pass on the Azerbaijani language from generation to generation. Even at the height of the Soviet bans, the National Leader, using his official powers, ensured that the Azerbaijani language received the status of the state language. Thus, he signed a historical event that will play an important role in the life of the people. After becoming the President of the independent Republic of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev issued orders and decrees related to the language, carried out reforms that created conditions for the development of our language. The article highlights the Heydar Aliyev‘s work about language culture.
