Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh is one of the prominent representatives of 20th-century Azerbaijani literature. His creative work is rich both artistically and ideologically. The motifs of time and memory occupy a special place in his poetry. As fundamental components of his poetics, these motifs serve as expressions of both individual and collective (national) memory. This article provides a poetic analysis of the motifs of time and memory in Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh’s works and examines their relationship with national identity and ideology
