Abstract
Social responsibility and conscious consumption have become one of the most important social, economic and environmental challenges of our time. The aim of this article is to explore the relationship between these two concepts, to show how corporate social responsibility (CSR) influences consumers' purchasing decisions and how conscious consumer behaviour is evolving. The analysis will examine the effectiveness of CSR strategies, with a particular focus on the extent to which they can encourage sustainable consumption patterns. The study is based on quantitative research to explore consumer attitudes and expectations towards sustainable products and services. The results show that a commitment to social responsibility can increase brand loyalty and positively influence the perception of companies, but we also highlight barriers to conscious consumer behaviour, such as lack of information or price sensitivity. The paper concludes that conscious consumption and social responsibility are mutually reinforcing factors that need to be integrated for a sustainable future.
