The effect of gamma radiation on the thermodynamic parameters of the AgCuS compound was studied. Thermodynamic parameters of this compound as Wigner enthalpy, phase transition temperature, free energy were determined by the method of Differential Thermal Analysis at the temperature range of T = 600-1250 K. Analysis of the thermal parameters of irradiated samples at doses of D = 50 kGy, D = 100 kGy and D = 200 kGy showed that as the radiation dose increases, more energy is required for the phase transition. This phenomenon is explained by the breaking of weak chemical bonds under the influence of gamma rays and the formation of partial amorphization in the crystal structure.
