The basic directions of economic policy, implementing by the government of Azerbaijan, specific weight of forcasted income of non-oil sector in GDP, maintaining sustainable economic growth due to the increase in non-oil sector etc. on the background of unstable economic situation in the world have been researched in the article. The strengthening of achievements, and provision of the stability in the economy will be achieved by expanding the non-oil sector of the economy and its rapid development on the basis of the purposes spesified in the Development Consept "Azerbaijan 2020: Look into the future" pointed out in the article.
