Abstract

The properties of textile packages have been analyzed and their classification has been developed. It has been established that a number of process parameters are determined by the winding structure. The analysis of methods for assessing the process parameters of textile packages has been carried out. Based on the analysis, their classification has been developed, which has made it possible to identify the most promising areas for creating a hardware and software complex. The proposed complex allows for the most complete assessment of the quality of packages at var ious stages of textile production. The operation of the hardware and software com plex is based on machine vision methods in combination with the method of shad ow projection of the section. Primary information on the shape of the package is transferred to the software part for processing. As a result of the complex's opera tion, a three-dimensional model of the textile package is formed, containing com plete information on its structure and the most important process parameters. The experimental studies of a batch of packages on the proposed hardware and software complex show that the obtained analysis results correspond to the results of the expert assessment. The influence of the identified defects in the winding structure and the properties of cross-wound packages and their ability for further processing are considered.
