INFLUENCE OF GREENHOUSE GASES OF LIVESTOCK ORIGIN
ON THE ATMOSPHERE IN AZERBAIJAN
F.M. Jafarova, A.Z. Hajiyeva
Since livestock farming is a large area of agriculture that uses land resources, the quality
of forage plants and pastures, intensive production of feed raw materials, favorable temperature
and water parameters are considered very important factors here. In the future, climate change is
predicted to affect the productivity of soils and forage crops, which are the natural source of livestock
production. Although minimizing greenhouse gas emissions is an important goal of livestock
development, weakening the economic power of enterprises is inevitable. This is why there is a need
to explore ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with livestock farming, as well as
the boomerang relationship between global environmental issues and livestock farming.
Key words. Greenhouse gases, carbon emissions, anthropogenic impact, global
warming, animal products, fermentation
