Abstract

Cu2−xTmxSe system was synthesized by partially replacing Cu atoms with Tm atoms and the thermal properties of this system were studied. The investigation was carried out by DSC and TGA methods in the temperature range T = 30 − 800◦ C. It has been established that an increase in the concentration of Tm atoms in leads to a decrease in the value of melting temperature. The melting temperatures for the Cu2−xTmxSe system and the mechanism of temperature change in these compounds at high temperatures have been determined. Mass loss was observed in the samples during the solid-liquid phase transition.
