Abstract

The collision efficiency of dust particles is studied numerically using the forth-order Runge-Kutta method. The results of simulations indicate that the collision efficiency coefficient decreases with increasing the aggregate to particle diameters ratio. The rate of decrease of collision efficiency coefficient is greatest at big aggregate to particle diameters ratios.
