Abstract
This chapter explores the regional disparities in women's entrepreneurship in Central Europe, focusing on Slovakia, Czechia, and Poland. It analyzes urban and rural contexts alongside cultural and economic influences. Using secondary data from Eurostat and the World Bank, the study examines key variables, including GDP per capita, employment rates, share of female sole proprietors, and entrepreneurship indicator scores. The analysis highlights significant challenges for female entrepreneurs, such as limited resources and opportunities. Recommendations include targeted policies to bridge regional gaps, improve access to financing, and foster inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems. These measures aim to enhance women's contributions to sustainable economic growth and entrepreneurship in Central Europe.
