The photoconductivity of a high-density polyethylene p-GaSe semiconductor composite was studied at various values of the volume percentage of the semiconductor (N), the voltage drop across the sample (U (0)), and the light intensity (CYRILLIC CAPITAL LETTER EFl ). It was found that the photoconductivity (i (ph)) non-monotonically depends on N and U (0). The reasons for the revealed dependences i (ph)= f(U (0)), i (ph)= f(N), and i (ph)= f(CYRILLIC CAPITAL LETTER EFl ) in the material under study are clarified. It is shown that this composite can be a promising material for creating photodetectors of visible light.
