Abstract
Abstract. The article gives an overview of the use
and general potential of alternative energy
resources in Azerbaijan. The role of wind, solar,
geothermal and other energy sources against
climate change and environmental protection is
shown also. Necessary actions for stimulating new
energy technologies are announced.
