Abstract

One of the priorities set in order to ensure the dynamic development of modern independent Azerbaijan is to ensure the socio-economic development of the regions in our country. In Azerbaijan, which has entered a qualitatively new stage of socio-economic development, the most important and conceptual issue facing the state is to effectively use the natural and economic potential of the regions, accelerate the development of entrepreneurship, increase employment of the population, reduce the level of poverty in the country and develop such priority issues. The reforms being carried out are further accelerating the provision of regional balance in the republic and the solution of social problems. Thus, in accordance with the instructions of the head of the country, measures are being taken by the tax authorities to stimulate the development of the non-oil sector of the economy. As a result of systematic measures taken to make incomes transparent and accounting

accurate, as well as further improving the entrepreneurial environment, tax revenues are also increasing. The positive results of large-scale projects, the implementation of which is being successfully implemented, have been evident for several years now. As a result of the targeted policy, new jobs are being created in the cities and regions of the republic, various amounts of financial assistance are provided by the state to entrepreneurs, and all other necessary measures are being

implemented. This, of course, leads to an increase in the number of jobs in the regions, ensuring employment of the population living in the regions, and creating a favorable environment for them, which ultimately ensures the socio-economic development of the regions. As a result of the work done, the share of the regions in the dynamics of the socio-economic development of Azerbaijan is increasing every year. In recent years, new roads that meet the most modern requirements have been built in all cities and regions of the republic, road junctions and tunnels are being built, and repair and restoration work is being carried out on buildings used for both residential and administrative purposes.
