Abstract

This investigation examines the unsteady flow of micropolar nanofluid comprising a suspension of microorganisms with the application of nonlinear radiative effects. The thermal problem is further supported with Soret and Dufour features. An oscillating stretched surface with the porous media and a suction phenomenon is assumed to be the source of the flow. Additional effects of viscous dissipation are also accounted for. A novel Cattaneo-Christov hypothesis is adopted to modify the problem. A complex system of partial differential equations (PDEs) is developed for the formulated problem. The implementation of the analytical scheme is based on the homotopy analysis method (HAM). Physical aspects of the parameters modeled against various flow profiles are studied. The observations for the Nusselt number, Sherwood number and motile density number as functions of time are presented. The physical amplification of the results is presented graphically for the involved parameters, with specified ranges including 0 <= l3 <= 3.5, 0 <= A <= 3.5, 0.5 <= l3 <= 1.5, 0.4 <= Ec <= 1.6, 0.1 <= Du <= 0.5, 0.2 <= l3 <= 0.6, 0.1 <= Sr <= 0.5, 0.2 <=omega <= 1.0, 0.2 <= Nb <= 3, 0.8, 0.1 <=theta w <= 0.5, 0.1 <= alpha T <= 0.5, 0.2 <= Sc <= 0.6, 0.5 <= Pe <= 1.5, and 0.2 <= Pr <= 1.5, 0.0 <= Lb <= 2.5, It was observed that the velocity oscillated periodically with increasing magnitude due to the variation of the micropolar fluid parameter. The temperature profile increased due to the Dufour number and Soret constant while a decline was noticed for the micropolar fluid parameter.
