Qısa məlumat

The main purpose of the study is to assess the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) on tourism services exports in Azerbaijan, analyze the current situation of ICT use in the tourism sector, and provide relevant suggestions and recommendations to eliminate the shortcomings. In order to achieve this goal, a number of tasks have been identified. Thus, the analysis of existing theoretical approaches at the global level was carried out, a panel econometric model was evaluated for 18 OECD countries in order to determine the positive impact of ICT on the export of tourism services exports in a number of countries, and the role of ICT use in the development of tourism services exports in Azerbaijan was studied through an appropriate econometric evaluation. In the studies carried out in most countries, it was clear that ICT use has a positive effect on the export of tourism services in those countries. According to the results of the econometric models, ICT use has a positive effect on tourism services exports. Since the level of ICT use by businesses in Azerbaijan is low, necessary recommendations have been put forward in order to eliminate this deficiency.
