The work is devoted to the determination of some basic parameters of the structure of parallel winding packages. The structure of packages obtained in the process of winding a group of threads is considered. A technique has been developed for calculating the number of layers, the density of filaments in the radial and axial directions of the package, as well as the fill factor of the winding. The relationship between bulk density and fill factor in parallel winding is obtained.
