Assoc. Prof. ADİK MƏMMƏDOV

He was born on June 11, 1952 in Idirsi village of Guba region.

He graduated from high school in 1970.

In 1970-1973, he performed his military service in the Baltic Navy.

In 1974, he entered the Faculty of Geology and Geography of Azerbaijan State University (now BSU) and graduated in 1979 with a degree in geography. In the same year, he was assigned to the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences (National Academy of Sciences).

In 1982-1985, he was a full-time graduate student of the Department of "Nature Protection" at the Institute of Geography.

In 1988, he defended his thesis on the topic of "The amount of heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Hg) in the soils, plants and waters of the North-Eastern slope of the Little Caucasus" (between Zeyamcay and Kurakcay) at the scientific council of the Georgian State Institute of Sugar Industry, and received the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences.

In 2001, he was appointed as a senior lecturer at the "Economic Geography" department of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. Currently, he is an associate professor of the department.

In 2009, at the Faculty of General Economics (now Economics and Industry), in the full-time department;

Since 2013, he has worked as the deputy dean of the part-time department.

Currently, I work at the "Environmental protection and economy" department.

He is the author of more than 20 scientific articles, programs, teaching aids, textbooks.

He is married and has a child.
