Arzu Musa Ahmadova, PhD in Physics, Associate Professor
Born on 30
October 1970 in the city of Aghdam.
From 1977 to
1987, she studied at Secondary School No. 28 in the city of Sumgait.
In 1987, she
entered the Faculty of Physics at Baku State University and graduated from the
same university in 1992 with qualifications as a physicist and physics teacher.
In 2011, she
defended her Candidate of Sciences dissertation on the topic 'Specific Features
of the Electrical and Thermal Properties of TlIn1-xYbxSe2(Te2) Solid
Solutions.'
She holds a PhD
in Physics.
From 1992 to
1994, she worked as an economist at the Azinam small enterprise.
From 1994 to
2014, she worked at Sumgait State University as a senior laboratory assistant,
assistant, and senior lecturer.
In 2014, she
began working at Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
Until 2019, she
was a senior lecturer at UNEC's Department of Physics and Chemistry. She is
currently an associate professor at the Department of Engineering and Applied
Sciences.
She has
presented scientific papers at a number of international and national
conferences and symposia and has been awarded a diploma.
She is the
author of approximately 100 scientific and scientific-methodological works,
including 42 articles and 58 theses. These works have been published in
high-impact journals indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science, in internationally
reputable scientific journals, in the proceedings of prestigious international
scientific symposia and conferences held in various countries, as well as in
highly reputable scientific journals of the Republic of Azerbaijan and foreign
countries.
A. M. Ahmadova
is the author of 16 subject programs and 2 teaching aids written for higher
education institutions.
She is the head
of the 'Economist Physicists' student scientific club.
She has
received certificates for the courses 'Materials of Electrical and Electronic
Engineering' and 'Renewable Energy Sources and Their Use,' conducted by
specialists from Gazi University, as well as for the 'Soft Skills' training
held at UNEC.
She is married and has two daughters.
