Assoc. Prof. Nailə Axundova

Born on December 28, 1959 in Baku.

 Graduated from Azerbaijan State University in 1984.

Since 1977, he has worked in various positions at the Photoelectronics Research Institute, and since 1995, he has worked as a laboratory head, teacher, senior lecturer, and associate professor at the Baku State Institute of Commodity Studies and Commerce.

In 1996, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Electronic and physical-chemical phenomena in thermocouples based on solid solutions of Bi0.5Sb1.5Te3 and Bi2Te2.7Se0.3" and received the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

In 2001, he received the scientific title of associate professor by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Since 2000, he has been working as an associate professor at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.

In 2018, he was awarded the “Honorary Decree” by the Copyright Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Issues of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his achievements in the field of creativity and innovation.

He received a certificate of training in the subject “Renewable energy sources and their use” in the trainings conducted by specialists from Gazi University.

He teaches in Azerbaijani and Russian.

He is the author of 178 scientific and scientific-methodological works, 16 of which were published in high-index International scientific journals, 78 in the materials of reputable International Scientific Symposia and Conferences held in various countries, 56 in highly influential scientific journals of the Republic of Azerbaijan and foreign countries, he is the author of 15 subject programs, 2 methodological aids, and 11 inventions.

He is currently an associate professor at the “Engineering and Applied Sciences” department of UNEC.

He has two children.
